The Robotics Club of Milestone College safely arrived back in Zimbabwe on 18 June 2025, landing at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport after a successful and inspiring trip to the United States for the Genius Olympiad 2025.
During the international competition held at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, two of our brilliant young innovators—Lionel Munuwa and Makanaka Bonyongwa—captivated judges with their groundbreaking Smart Irrigation System. Their project, designed to optimize water usage for agriculture, earned them a prestigious award, highlighting the global relevance of their work and the exceptional talent nurtured at Milestone
This international recognition not only celebrates their ingenuity but also marks a proud moment for our college, affirming our commitment to fostering creativity, problem-solving, and global citizenship through STEM education.
